Robert Bressman, DDS, MS  

Dr. Bressman is a highly accomplished periodontist with a passion for excellence in patient care and education. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 1974 and graduated with honors from Northwestern University Dental School, where he obtained his dental degree, a master’s degree in Oral Biology (an achievement attained by less than 1% of dentists), and a Periodontal Specialty. His dedication to the field was recognized early when he received the Student Periodontal Achievement Award from the American Academy of Periodontics and was inducted into the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Honor Society in Dentistry.

Dr. Bressman’s academic contributions include seven years as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics at Northwestern University. He later served as the Chairman of Periodontics at the Illinois Masonic Residency Program, an affiliate of the University of Illinois. In 1991, he was appointed Chairman of U.S. Education for the Swiss-based Mathys Foundation in Dental Implantology, affiliated with the renowned Swiss AO Foundation in Davos.

A sought-after expert, Dr. Bressman has presented at numerous international and local conferences, sharing his insights on tissue and bone regeneration, non-invasive periodontal therapies, and dental implantology. He is also skilled in periodontal cosmetic procedures, holds a U.S. patent for dental implant designs, and has been a consultant to leading dental manufacturing companies. Additionally, he has served in various leadership roles within his local dental society.
