Fred Lucas, DDS
Dr. Fred Lucas brings decades of expertise and passion to his work in periodontics. A proud graduate of Indiana University (Class of 1989), he earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois in 1993, followed by his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Tennessee in 1995.
Dr. Lucas has shared his knowledge extensively as a lecturer on periodontics and has served as an Associate Professor in Periodontics at the University of Illinois Dental School. In addition to his private practice, he currently holds the prestigious position of Chief of Periodontics at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients and mentorship to aspiring dental professionals.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lucas is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys cheering on the Chicago White Sox and supporting Hoosier athletics. He shares his love for sports with his two sons, creating cherished memories through their shared passion.
