Our Mission
We are one of the few specialty dental practices (licensed by the State
of Illinois) providing periodontal and implant care on the North Shore of
Chicago since 1981.
We teach internationally and locally provide to patients; state of the
art services, products and techniques in dental implant care and periodontal
care.
Our mission is to provide this in a "patient friendly", simple and
compassionate manner. We want to treat you in a way that is not only
effective, but is also affordable and comfortable, as humanly possible.
Profile: North Shore Periodontics
& Implantology, Ltd.

NSPI has been built on the many recommendations from
dentists and patients, not only in the Chicagoland area, but throughout the
United States. Since the early 1980's, the doctors of NSPI have been preserving smiles and dental function via innovative
techniques and products for many patients. Since the doctors of NSPI have
taught on some of the most prestigious dental school and foundation faculties,
they have a unique ability to early assess and gain vast experience in current
breakthrough care in Dental Implantology and Periodontal Therapy.
Organizations ( Affiliations of our doctors)
Our Doctors are closely involved in many dental organizations. We wish
to not only help our patients, but our profession, as well. Although we
have achieved various "ranking" in some of these organizations, we wish the
public to know that this does not imply superior ability and knowledge to other
periodontists and dentists. It simply means that we chose to demonstrate
our knowledge to our peers in that organization. Membership in these
organizations are simply what we give back to our profession.
The following is a partial list of organizations in which we participate:
American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, Chicago Dental
Society, Illinois Society of Periodontists, Illinois Dental Society,
International Academy of Dental Implantology, American Academy of Dental Implantology,
Various Corporate Research and Education Boards

my beginning in 1981. NSPI provides a home
for the practices of some of the finest Periodontists in our region. Each one of
us has demonstrated our abilities and judgment to our peers through our
academic and clinical practice capabilities. This translates to providing
solutions to the many patient periodontal problems that we have treated over the
last 20+ years.
Dr. Bressman attended the University of Illinois, receiving
his undergraduate B.S. degree in 1974. He graduated from Northwestern
University Dental School with honors receiving his dental degree, his master's
